Words that came to me at exactly the moment I wasn't too sure this last stretch of a few pretty dark and lonely weeks were going to be survivable. It was looking dicey, and I didn't have much more to give. And then just like that and in the most powerful whisper, "...but God." was said to me from a beautiful voice, completely out of the blue, and with that kind of gentle, reassuring nudge that can only come from the friend who has known and understood you since forever.
Simple as that. And the reminder everyone needs.
